Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join their team. As an Application Support Analyst, you will be part of the Front Office Technology organization supporting Rates and Credit trading platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership mindset, excellent incident and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with traders, technology teams, and control functions—aligning successfully in a high-availability trading environment.

Location: New York, NY (3 days onsite every week)

Pay Range: $64

What's the Job?

  • Provide day-to-day support for Fixed Income Rates and Credit trading platforms, ensuring stable and reliable operations.
  • Monitor critical production systems, interfaces, market connectivity, pricing feeds, and electronic trading workflows to maintain high availability.
  • Manage and resolve production incidents by coordinating across development, infrastructure, networking, market data vendors, and business users.
  • Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions following production issues, with a focus on long-term prevention.
  • Own operational readiness through change, release, deployment, DR management, and post-implementation validation to support business growth.

What's Needed?

  • 8+ years of experience in Front Office application support, with a strong focus on production stability and operational controls.
  • Experience supporting Rates and Credit related Fixed Income products and the trading workflows they enable.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and scripting, plus the ability to troubleshoot in real time using monitoring and log analysis.
  • Familiarity with incident management and problem management practices (including ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change).
  • Experience with monitoring and operational tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Logic Monitor, eG, Geneos/ITRS) and job scheduling (e.g., Autosys), plus database experience with MSSQL/SQL Server or Oracle.
