PeopleSoft Application Developer

Corp to Corp rate 95.00 per hour
Hourly w/2 rate 85.00
Client will due web interview if not locale but will require to relocate if hired to Albany. NY.
Government form to be completed
Work Location: State Street; Albany, New York
Duration: 2 years with the possibility of extension.
Work Arrangement: On-site work at the location stated above is required for 4 days per pay period and includes a mandatory in-person all team meeting held once a month.
Weekly Work Schedule: 40 hours per week between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. M-F
Occasional extended hours may be necessary by mutual agreement, e.g. Working weekends, past normal business hours.

Description of Engagement:
The Application Developer duties would include:
  • Develop solutions to business problems described in requirements and specifications
  • Analyze system defects and present proposed solutions and workarounds
  • Communicate effectively with business analysts and various technical staff
  • Recommend and implement system architecture improvements
  • Design system changes with consultation from other groups including, but not limited to:
    • Secure file transport
    • Server Administration
    • Database Administration
    • Scheduling
    • Security
  • Validate system functionality after infrastructure upgrades and resolve any observed issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned
The technology stack supporting this application is diverse, development work will primarily involve work on the following objects:
  • Oracle Database 19c and higher
    • Tables, Views, Indexes, Packages, Procedures and Functions
  • Oracle Application Express (APEX) 24 and 26
    • Depending on experience, some assignments would include the creation and maintenance of pages, automations, and assistance in application deployments
  • Linux Servers
    • Simple scripts to facilitate file management and transfer
  • Requirement solutions will interact with the following legacy and interfacing systems: PeopleSoft Financials, Mainframe, and PowerBuilder.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Six or more years of application development experience with PeopleSoft using at least three of the following toolsets: XML, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
  • Six or more years of experience in using SQL over PeopleSoft Data Structures.
  • Four or more years of experience in using PeopleTools 8.57 and higher.
  • Four or more years of experience conceptualizing and transforming business requirements into design documents with associated test plans and documentation.
  • Three or more years of experience developing collaborative solutions and troubleshooting issues between functional and technical teams.
  • Three or more years of experience providing knowledge transfer on new technologies and/or the developed application to other application developers.
  • Two or more years of experience developing solutions in APEX Version 20.1 or higher
