Software Development Test Engineer

Our client is seeking a Software Development Test Engineer to join their team. As a Software Development Test Engineer, you will be part of the Software Quality Engineering effort supporting product delivery in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have strong test automation engineering skills, a proven ability to build reliable automated regression suites, and the drive to collaborate across development and operations teams to improve software quality.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Build and execute automated UI, API, and end-to-end regression test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Investigate automation failures, troubleshoot flaky tests, and drive root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and SRE teams in an Agile environment.

What's Needed?

• 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Proficiency in Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• REST API testing experience.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Git, Maven, and Jenkins, including CI/CD implementation and execution.
