Senior Technical Program Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join their team. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be part of the Delivery & Program Management organization supporting cross-functional engineering workstreams. The ideal candidate will have strong program execution leadership, proven risk and dependency management, and the ability to drive alignment across distributed technical teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $60/hour. 

What's the Job?

• Own end-to-end program execution and delivery governance for a large-scale Android platform modernization and application migration program for a next-generation In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) platform.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering Android operating system migration, hardware platform bring-up, middleware modernization, passenger/crew/maintenance application porting, integration, verification, compatibility qualification, release readiness, and customer acceptance support.
• Coordinate delivery activities across multiple engineering domains, including Android Platform & BSP, middleware & platform services, passenger applications, crew applications, maintenance applications, build & release engineering, test automation, and system integration.
• Manage schedule execution by creating and maintaining detailed project schedules and integrated master plans, tracking milestone progress, analyzing variance, and driving recovery actions when needed.
• Lead program-level risk, issue, and impediment management by maintaining risk/issue registers, escalating items requiring leadership intervention, and coordinating resolution of environment, infrastructure, access, integration, and test setup blockers.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering, embedded systems, or technology program management experience, with at least 5+ years managing large-scale software development programs.
• Experience leading complex platform migration or modernization programs, including multi-stream delivery across development, integration, testing, and release teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with proven ability to drive execution in schedule-sensitive environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing risk, dependencies, and escalation management, along with excellent organizational, leadership, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
