Developer - C#.Net

Our client, a mission-critical Capital Markets technology team, is seeking a Developer - C#.Net to join their team in New York, NY. As a Developer - C#.Net, you will be part of the development organization supporting mission critical projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a strong work ethic—helping translate business needs into reliable software solutions.

Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $70-$72/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Participate in the technical design of software solutions for the Capital Markets business, including both in-house and external applications.
• Provide hands-on development support for mission critical projects, contributing to development environment, technology architecture, and implementation.
• Collaborate with business users and analysts to ensure applications meet user specifications and requirements.
• Work closely with the larger development team to share design approaches, solutions, and technical insights.
• Contribute to overall development team objectives by delivering high-quality, maintainable software.

What's Needed?

• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and/or C++, with an active interest in other computing technologies and tools.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, math, and proficient coding skills for hands-on software development.
• Familiarity with the design and implementation of data/message transfer and processing.
• Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Undergraduate preparation in Computer Science or a similar engineering degree with successful academic achievement, or equivalent professional work experience.
