Quality Control Technician

Our client, a medical device industry leader, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Management System (QMS) support group, helping ensure products are tested, documented, and released with accuracy and consistency. 

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Atlanta Georgia 30313 United States

Pay Range: $26/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Conduct product testing, including testing to support complaint investigations and stability verification.
• Generate product testing results reports.
• Review production batch records (DHRs) for accuracy and completeness to approve intermediate products for use in production; review finished goods batch records and report deviations, ensuring they are addressed and resolved prior to issuing approval.
• Conduct spot-check inspections/audits of production operations.
• Participate in the internal audit program and write, review, and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.

What's Needed?

• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing/Laboratory Practices (GMP and GLP).
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical area, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least one year in a quality assurance role in the medical device industry is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Computer proficiency with database software, internet software, inventory software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
