Quality Engineer (DAYS)

Our client, a leading provider of sterile operations and regulated manufacturing services, is seeking a Quality Engineer (DAYS) to join their team. As a Quality Engineer (DAYS), you will be part of the Quality organization supporting sterile operations across manufacturing, filling, packaging, and inspection, including non-batch-specific activities for both commercial and product development services products. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership and responsibility, the ability to troubleshoot and analyze process issues, and the drive to champion a quality culture that supports cGMP compliance.

Schedule: DAYS 6a-6p, 2-2-3
Contract: 9 months 
Pay Range:$52-54/hr

What's the Job?

  • Perform daily quality assessments of facility, personnel, and documentation in classified and non-classified areas to uncover errors or deficiencies and ensure compliance with site procedures and cGMPs.
  • Provide daily guidance to employees for troubleshooting, documentation corrections/notes, and support for aseptic technique execution.
  • Champion a strong quality culture by helping personnel understand and apply policies and controls that protect product quality.
  • Support deviation and change control activities by participating in RAPID event response, advancing deviation events to the appropriate area, and providing quality guidance.
  • Complete quality reviews and approvals for procedures, training documents, forms, deviation/change control items, and perform quality batch record review for moderate to high complexity items.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology, engineering, or microbiology-related field; equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, or in Operations/Manufacturing.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, with aseptic or sterile process experience strongly preferred; experience in other regulated environments (e.g., ISO 9001) may be considered.
  • Ability to capture data, analyze and troubleshoot process issues and equipment problems alongside production leadership.
  • Technical writing experience; professional certifications (e.g., CQA) and Six Sigma training are a plus.
