Our client, a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is seeking a Quality Engineer (Nights) to join their team. As a Quality Engineer (Nights), you will be part of the Quality organization supporting sterile operations across manufacturing, filling, packaging, and inspection. The ideal candidate will bring strong ownership, a detail-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams to drive practical quality improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Schedule: Nights 6p-6a 2-2-3
Contract: 9 Months
Pay Rate:$56.50/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform daily quality assessments of facility, personnel, and documentation in both classified and non-classified areas to uncover errors or deficiencies and assure quality and compliance per site procedures and cGMPs.
- Provide daily interaction and on-the-floor support to troubleshoot issues, guide documentation corrections/notes, and reinforce aseptic technique expectations.
- Champion a quality culture by helping personnel understand how policies and controls are applied in day-to-day work.
- Participate in RAPID event response, provide quality guidance for deviation events, and advance deviation events to the appropriate area and quality management.
- Complete quality reviews and approvals for procedures, training documents, forms, deviation/change control items, and moderate-to-high complexity Root Cause Analysis support, including quality batch record review.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology, engineering, or microbiology related field required; equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with prior Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience, or experience in Operations/Manufacturing.
- Previous pharmaceutical industry experience; preferably aseptic or sterile processes, with experience in other regulated environments (e.g., ISO 9001) considered.
- Ability to capture data, analyze and troubleshoot process and equipment issues, and partner with production leadership to drive corrective actions.
- Technical writing experience; professional certifications (e.g., CQA) and training (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus.
