Quality Engineer (Nights)

Our client, a pharmaceutical and sterile operations organization, is seeking a Quality Engineer (Nights) to join their team. As a Quality Engineer (Nights), you will be part of the Quality organization supporting sterile manufacturing quality execution across manufacturing, filling, packaging, inspection, and associated non batch specific activities for both commercial and product development services products. The ideal candidate will bring strong ownership, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively on the production floor to help drive practical process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Range:$56/hr

What's the Job?

  • Perform daily quality assessments of facility, personnel, and documentation in both classified and non-classified areas to uncover errors or deficiencies, ensuring quality and compliance per site procedures and cGMPs.
  • Provide daily support and guidance to employees for troubleshooting, documentation corrections/notes, and aseptic technique.
  • Champion a quality culture by helping personnel understand and apply policies and controls.
  • Support deviation and change control activities, including participating in RAPID event response, advancing deviation events to the appropriate area, and providing quality guidance for moderate to high complexity events.
  • Complete quality reviews and approvals for procedures, training documents, forms, and batch records of moderate to high complexity, and participate in Root Cause Analysis as the quality assurance representative.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology, engineering, or microbiology related field required; equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control or Operations/Manufacturing.
  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience; preferably aseptic or sterile processes (experience in other regulated environments such as ISO 9001 may be considered).
  • Ability to capture data, analyze, and troubleshoot process and equipment issues, partnering with production leadership to drive resolution.
  • Technical writing experience; professional certifications (e.g., CQA) and training (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus.
