Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology and human capital management, is seeking an Oracle Cloud Payroll functional consultant to join their team. As an Oracle Cloud Payroll functional consultant, you will be part of the HCM Transformation team supporting Oracle Cloud Payroll delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong solution leadership, deep Oracle Cloud Payroll functional expertise, and the ability to drive end-to-end go-live readiness, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Oracle Cloud Payroll functional consultant
Location: New York, NY (On-site a few days/week throughout most of the assignment; East Coast candidates may be considered.)
What's the Job?
- Lead Oracle Cloud Payroll solution design, governance, and deployment activities across full-cycle implementations and go-lives.
- Own core payroll configuration and leading practices, including Payroll Definitions, Enterprise Structures (PSUs), Tax Structures (TRUs), Worker Payroll Structures (Payroll Relationships), and Payroll Elements (Earnings and Deductions).
- Drive payroll rules and processing expertise across payroll cycles, garnishments, costing, midyear balance conversions, W-2 processing, and year-end processing.
- Design and manage payroll flow patterns and payroll reconciliation processes, including audit and reconciliation reporting.
- Support complex payroll operations including multi-state payroll, union payroll requirements, and organizations with 10,000+ employees; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated HCM solutions.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of five years of Oracle HCM Payroll implementation and consulting experience.
- Experience completing at least three full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations as the Payroll Lead.
- Required certification: Oracle Payroll Cloud Implementation Professional certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll configuration, audit/reconciliation reporting, inbound and outbound payroll integrations, and payroll data governance.
- Strong knowledge of Fast Formula analysis, design, and troubleshooting, plus a detailed understanding of Oracle ERP and HCM system concepts and payroll functionality.
