Senior Specialist, Contracts & Claims

Our client, a leading transportation and supply chain organization, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Contracts & Claims to join their team. As a Senior Specialist, Contracts & Claims, you will be part of the Transportation team supporting Transportation Operations, Procurement, and Legal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Senior Specialist, Contracts & Claims
Location: Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid)
Pay Range: 75-85K + bonus opportunities 

What's the Job?

• Review, interpret, and administer transportation contracts with carriers and logistics providers.
• Support transportation sourcing and contracting cycles associated with carrier bid events.
• Manage freight and carrier claims from initiation through resolution and recovery.
• Partner with procurement and legal teams on contract language, compliance, and claims-related matters.
• Develop and maintain contract and claims reporting using Excel and related business tools.

What's Needed?

• 3-7 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Experience reviewing contracts and understanding liability, claims, and carrier agreements.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and report on data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaborate across multiple business functions.
