SEO & Content Optimization Project Manager

As an SEO & Content Optimization Project Manager, you will upport the search team by owning the content production workflow and helping ensure the digital content across the site is properly keyworded, structured, and ready for publishing. This role is built for someone who enjoys SEO/GEO execution—keyword research, outlining, coordination, and performance tracking—while bringing strong writing and editing instincts to make content clearer, more discoverable, and more AI-friendly.

What's the Job?

  • Conduct keyword research for blog and glossary topics using SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush) and align findings to search intent.
  • Create SEO-driven content outlines for blog articles and product pages, including structure, headings, intent, and target keywords for business units.
  • Coordinate with writers, agencies, internal teams, and AI tools to move content through production stages from intake to publication.
  • Manage the content workflow end-to-end (backlog, in-progress review, and published status) while maintaining clear pipeline visibility for stakeholders.
  • Track and report basic content performance, clearly communicating what was executed successfully and what needs improvement.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush or similar) and the ability to translate keyword research into actionable outlines.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research and search intent, plus familiarity with GEO concepts and AI search optimization (how LLMs discover, read, and cite content).
  • Experience writing or editing for AI-readiness, including semantic structure, conversational keyword integration, and entity optimization.
