Senior Web Test Automation Engineer

Our client, a technology organization focused on quality engineering, is seeking a Senior Web Test Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Web Test Automation Engineer, you will be part of a QE team supporting testing and automation for Web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, a deep background in QA testing, and proven expertise in web UI and API automation, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Understand and gather requirements to translate them into clear test objectives and automation plans.
• Create test cases and test scenarios, then develop reliable automated test scripts for Web UI and APIs.
• Execute test cases and scripts across multiple environments (QA, STG, etc.) and validate expected behavior.
• Report bugs clearly and support defect triage to help teams resolve issues efficiently.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines and maintain documentation for repeatable testing.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong QA testing background.
• Expertise in Web UI testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit (or equivalent).
• Experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured and/or ReadyAPI (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), build tools (Maven/Ant), debugging tools (Charles/Fiddler), Agile management (JIRA), and test management (QMetry).
