Our client, high-tech software and infrastructure organization is seeking an SSD Firmware Validation & Automation Engineer to join their team. As an SSD Firmware Validation & Automation Engineer, you will be part of the software engineering organization supporting SSD Product Security Infrastructure engineering commitments. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving, a quality-first mindset, and the drive to improve systems through testing, automation, and continuous delivery.

Location:Longmont, Colorado
Pay Range:$75/hr - $85/hr
What's the Job?
- Support SSD firmware validation by contributing to test automation and CI/CD development activities for SSD Product Security Infrastructure.
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to understand the software problem domain, including interfaces between hardware and software and overall software characteristics.
- Write and maintain software using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to deliver reliable functionality across end-user applications and operating systems/utility software.
- Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and implementing software enhancements.
- Apply software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
What's Needed?
- 5-7 years of experience in software development engineering, including building and maintaining software systems.
- Experience supporting firmware validation efforts through testing, automation, and CI/CD development.
- Strong skills in writing software code using programming, scripting, and/or database languages.
- Proficiency with software development best practices such as coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements to understand software functionality, hardware/software interfaces, and system characteristics.
