What's the Job?

  • Serve as the Scrum framework authority for software development teams, ensuring adherence to the Scrum Guide while coaching teams to higher maturity.
  • Support new AI-led initiatives by working hands-on with AI-native engineering teams and helping development teams deliver business value through disciplined Scrum execution.
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum events (backlog grooming, Sprint planning, daily Scrum, Sprint review, and Sprint retrospective) to drive clarity, alignment, and continuous improvement.
  • Remove impediments, escalate as appropriate, and help teams maintain a consistent, predictable cadence that supports reliable delivery.
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain and groom prioritized backlogs and support release planning, while keeping stakeholders informed on progress, impediments, and outcomes.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment, including leading teams in a large, complex enterprise setting with cross-team dependencies.
  • Must have experience working in an environment of AI-led teams, including demonstrated success scaling AI-assisted software development across multiple teams.
  • Fully educated and conversant on the Scrum process according to the Scrum Guide, with a thorough understanding of Agile values and principles.
  • Strong knowledge of backlog grooming, release planning, Sprint planning, and Scrum metrics (e.g., Sprint burndown, release burnup, velocity), plus retrospective techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience owning and managing customer expectations, project schedules, status and reporting, and change management, with strong conflict resolution and facilitation skills.
