Validation Engineer

Location:San Jose, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days home)

Pay Range:$42

What's the Job?

• Enhance and maintain sophisticated validation tool drivers and test infrastructure to support reliable system verification.
• Debug system regression failures and partner closely with engineering teams to implement features and resolve system-level issues.
• Validate system-level features and blocks for new hardware generations, ensuring readiness for production-quality outcomes.
• Apply deep validation principles to identify gaps, reproduce issues, and drive fixes through the full test/debug workflow.
• Deliver dependable engineering solutions on schedule while working within complex software systems and architectures.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s (or greater) in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or similar program with a focus on Software Engineering.
• Excellent programming skills with demonstrated experience in low-level C and Python programming.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills with a deep understanding of validation principles.
• Experience with device driver development, or hardware programming (embedded, operating system/kernel, etc.).
• Working knowledge of device driver development in C and assembly, plus knowledge of CPU/ARM architectures.
