Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client, Electrical / Electronics & Semiconductors is seeking a US_East | Electrical / Electronics & Semiconductors Engineer_L3 to join their team. As a US_East | Electrical / Electronics & Semiconductors Engineer_L3, you will be part of the Product Engineering organization supporting cross-functional teams across the full product implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership of hardware design and integration, a collaborative mindset across engineering and operations partners, and the drive to adopt AI tools to improve engineering workflows.

What's the Job?

• Support guidance into the entire product implementation cycle, including requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design (including PCBA layout), implementation, testing, integration, documentation, compliance certification, and introduction to production in coordination with the architecture team.
• Collaborate with a multi-functional team including hardware architecture, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics engineering, product and program management, and other groups as needed.
• Contribute to advanced technology initiatives to develop next-generation sensors and sensing platforms, and support product sustaining activities.
• Design and integrate analog and digital circuitry, including low-noise signal paths and power management, to meet system performance goals.
• Support firmware-hardware co-design and debugging of embedded systems, including integration of industrial communication protocols into new and existing hardware platforms.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 7+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded systems.
• Experience and motivation to use and drive adoption of AI tools in engineering workflows.
• Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including low-noise signal paths and power management.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, LoRa, RS-485) with experience integrating them into new and existing hardware platforms.
