Our client is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join their team. As a Embedded Hardware Test Engineer, you will be part of the product quality and validation effort supporting embedded systems testing.

Pay Range: $37 per hour on W2
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, execute, and document formal test plans, procedures, and reports for embedded hardware and systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test solutions to improve test coverage, repeatability, and efficiency.
- Perform electrical, firmware/software, mechanical, environmental, and system-level testing to validate product performance.
- Set up and operate laboratory and environmental test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, function/signal generators, temperature/environmental chambers, and low-voltage analog/digital measurement tools.
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, track issues and corrective actions using defect tracking systems such as JIRA, and coordinate regulatory/compliance testing with third-party labs (UL, CSA, TÜV, etc.).
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of related experience required.
- Strong experience in hardware and embedded system testing, including interaction with firmware and software.
- Proven test automation experience, including scripting languages such as Python (or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience designing and qualifying test fixtures and automated test setups, plus proficiency with test instrumentation and strong analytical/troubleshooting/documentation skills.
