Inventory Control Specialist

Our client, a logistics and operations-focused organization is seeking a Inventory Control Analyst to join their team. As a Inventory Control Analyst, you will be part of the Operations team supporting Warehouse and Logistics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment—skills that will help you maintain inventory accuracy and support smooth day-to-day operations.

Location:Boise, ID

Pay Range:$20 - $23 based on experience

What's the Job?

• Ensure inventory security and accountability through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review.
• Conduct physical inventories and lead cycle counts, analyzing results and correcting discrepancies when able.
• Audit incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quality and accuracy of quantities and transactions.
• Compile and document all transactions to support accurate data entry and reporting.
• Review inventory transactions to confirm compliance with company policies and procedures.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, plus effective communication and teamwork skills.
