Senior NetApp Storage Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior NetApp Storage Engineer to join their team. As a Senior NetApp Storage Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure & Storage Services team supporting mission-critical storage operations. The ideal candidate will have advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis, strong storage performance monitoring expertise, and the ability to deliver ITIL-aligned incident and problem management which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Administer and support NetApp FAS systems and NetApp ONTAP environments, ensuring reliable NAS and SAN operations.
• Provide advanced support for storage provisioning, zoning, replication, backup integration, and disaster recovery setup.
• Use NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) for proactive monitoring, performance analysis, alerting, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex storage issues and implement performance tuning improvements to optimize uptime and efficiency.
• Support ITIL-based service management processes, including incident and problem management, using ServiceNow ITSM for ticket tracking and workflow automation.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in infrastructure and storage administration with hands-on responsibility for enterprise storage environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP and NetApp FAS, including monitoring and performance optimization.
• Experience supporting SAN/NAS storage environments and Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat) administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
