Our client, a healthcare organization, is seeking an IT Project Manager. As an IT Project Manager, you will be part of the technology organization supporting infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, and enterprise technology programs. The ideal candidate will have strong organization and project leadership, hands-on expertise with Jira for reporting and workflow management, and the ability to analyze and consolidate data across multiple systems to deliver clear executive insights.

Job Title: IT Project Manager 
Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $68/hr - $73/hr (Dependent on Experience)
Job Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

What's the Job?

  • Lead multiple concurrent IT infrastructure and transformation projects across the full project lifecycle, from planning through delivery and governance.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to keep initiatives on track.
  • Partner with internal project managers, technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure successful delivery and alignment to organizational standards.
  • Create and maintain executive-level metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and status reporting.
  • Analyze and consolidate data from multiple sources to provide actionable project insights and support decision-making.
  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans, and facilitate stakeholder communications through recurring meetings and updates.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of project management experience leading complex technology initiatives in one of the following areas: infrastructure, server upgrades, or on-prem to cloud migrations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira, including advanced functionality for reporting, dashboards, and workflow management.
  • Deep understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and PM tools, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing and managing project metrics, scorecards, KPIs, and executive dashboards, including strong data analytics skills to aggregate and interpret information from multiple sources.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and resource management processes.
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills, with ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting healthcare industry environments is a plus!
