Emulation Datacenter Engineer

Our client, a leading semiconductor and advanced computing technology company, is seeking an Emulation Datacenter Engineer to join their team. As an Emulation Datacenter Engineer, you will be part of the Virtual Bring-Up Engineering Organization supporting the Virtual Bring-Up (VBU) Central Methodology Team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Administer and maintain LSF/Slurm clusters in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage datacenter hardware upgrades, migrations, firmware updates, and software patching.
• Support deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of emulation and prototyping infrastructure.
• Perform datacenter audits and monitor uptime, power usage, and cooling efficiency.
• Manage inventory, rack planning, hardware installations, and asset documentation.

What's Needed?

• Experience with LSF and/or Slurm administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration expertise, including system configuration and driver installation.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level emulation, prototyping, or datacenter systems.
• Proficiency with Bash, Perl, Python, Ansible, Puppet, cfengine, and PXE boot.
• Knowledge of Device42, Nagios, Power BI, and datacenter operational best practices.
