Senior Information Security Engineer - Ping Directory

Our client, Directory Security Engineering (DSE) team is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer - Ping Directory to join their team. As a Senior Information Security Engineer - Ping Directory, you will be part of the Directory Security Engineering (DSE) team supporting efforts in the design, development, testing, and implementation of Ping Directory service configuration as code. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to automate operational processes, a commitment to reliability and scaling, and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams to deliver secure, repeatable deployments.

What's the Job?

• Support LDAP engineers by automating operational processes and improving existing code and scripts used for Directory service configuration and deployment.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to orchestrate deployments across multiple end points and support infrastructure configuration as code.
• Maintain and modernize internally developed Ruby/RubyGems code, along with Perl and Bash scripts used for automation of Directory service configuration and deployment.
• Engineer automated testing and support CI/CD pipelines that host infrastructure configuration, deployment automation, maintenance scripts, and custom code.
• Design, test, and deploy containerized Directory services to cloud-hosted Kubernetes platforms such as IBM OpenShift.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, and/or education.
• 4+ years of DevOps experience.
• 3+ years of development experience with scripting and programming languages such as Ruby, Python, Java, and/or Perl.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Orchestra, Harness, UCD, Artifactory, SonarCube, Blackduck, and GitHub Copilot.
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and containers on IBM OpenShift.
