Test Engineer 3

Our client, an advanced technology organization, is seeking a Test Engineer 3 to join their team. As a Test Engineer 3, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting validation and testing activities for preproduction solid-state drive (SSD) products. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to improve product quality, a hands-on mindset for test execution and troubleshooting, and the communication skills to translate test results into clear engineering insights.

What's the Job?

• Perform testing and validation on preproduction SSDs to ensure product quality, reliability, and functionality.
• Develop, review, and optimize test plans, test cases, and testing activities to improve coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Direct and coordinate testing activities related to development, procurement, installation, and calibration of test equipment, instruments, and control devices.
• Define test conditions and manage different phases of testing, including operational, functional, and performance validation.
• Analyze and interpret test data to identify issues, validate product behavior, and support engineering decisions.

What's Needed?

• 5–7 years of experience in hardware and/or software testing and validation.
• Strong understanding of test case design, test execution methodologies, and defect management processes.
• Experience analyzing test data and generating clear technical reports.
• Familiarity with SSD technology and associated testing equipment is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented engineering environment.
