Our client, a technology organization supporting enterprise platforms, is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Systems Operations Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the Cyber Security - Platform Support Enterprise Service Technology organization, supporting the applications and infrastructure that keep critical services running. The ideal candidate will bring strong incident and problem management skills, a proactive mindset for identifying recurring issues, and the communication confidence to drive issues to closure with cross-functional partners.
Job Title:Systems Operations Engineer
Location:1525 West WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28262 and 2600 S Price Rd., Chandler, Arizona 85286 (Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, minimum)
What's the Job?
- Provide day-to-day platform support for Enterprise Services Technology applications and infrastructure, focusing on stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.
- Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives involving large-scale applications, systems, databases, and related technical products and services.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to lead, monitor, and resolve system outages while supporting availability management.
- Recognize recurring problems and proactively recommend solutions and process improvements with cross-functional partners.
- Serve as a key participant in large-scale computer systems and network infrastructure operations for Systems and Operations.
What's Needed?
- 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience (or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, and/or education).
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays, and on-call basis based on demands, with willingness to work beyond shift hours if needed.
- Working knowledge of varying technologies, including Linux, Autosys, Windows OS, Harness, ServiceNow, TFE, Cloud Management Portal, Big Panda, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Splunk.
- Proficient experience with incident management, problem management, and change management.
- Ability to adhere to HR policies, shift availability, team meetings, and daily cadence.

Important Shift Availability Requirement:
- CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY - TUESDAY SHIFT. DO NOT SUBMIT CANDIDATES NOT OPEN TO THE LISTED SHIFT.
- Shift availability: Friday–Tuesday, 9:00am–6:00pm.
- Must be available for shift coverage and support as operational demands require.
