Sourcing Manager

Our client is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join their team. As a Sourcing Manager, you will be part of the Procurement organization supporting the Marketing Procurement Group. If you’re energized by strategic sourcing, data-driven decision-making, and building supplier relationships that deliver measurable value, this role is for you. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, clear stakeholder communication, and the ability to lead end-to-end sourcing activities with confidence and precision.

Job Title: Sourcing Manager 
Location: Remote (Pacific/Central/Mountain time zones preferred)
Pay Range: $57 - $60 / hr. on W2
Duration: 6+ months with highly possible extension / conversion

What's the Job?

• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including requirements gathering, RFP/RFI development, proposal evaluation, scenario analysis, supplier selection, and contract drafting, negotiation, and execution to deliver optimal value and terms.
• Execute main service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and order forms, ensuring contract language and execution align with business needs.
• Define commodity and supplier strategies while adopting best-practice commodity management and strategic sourcing processes.
• Track category performance relative to targets and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers; communicate clearly with procurement leadership, business stakeholders, and the team on strategies, contracts, and project updates.
• Support highly complex or strategic initiatives, including analyzing the supply market and current supply base, building business cases, building RFx and auctions, negotiating contract provisions, onboarding suppliers, conducting supplier performance reviews, monitoring contract execution, and identifying future sourcing opportunities.

What's Needed?

• At least 7 years of strategic sourcing experience (10+ years preferred), with strong capability to lead sourcing of moderate complexity and support complex or strategic initiatives.
• Strong preference for experience in Indirect Procurement; Marketing experience is especially encouraged.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered procurement tools, spend analytics, and market intelligence to generate insights, identify savings opportunities, and support data-driven sourcing decisions.
• Strong analytical skills and competency with Excel to evaluate proposals, analyze spend/category performance, and support sourcing recommendations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with procurement leadership and business stakeholders throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
