Our client, a leading packaging and product development organization, is seeking a Packaging Engineer II to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer II, you will be part of the Product Development organization supporting Brand Development and transversal project needs. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to lead with agility and seasoned strategic judgment, aligning successfully in the organization.

Ideal Candidates:
The team is looking for someone who can manage product launches, cost analysis and worked closely with packaging, R&D, marketing and operations teams, possesses strong Excel and project management skills, and can independently drive complex cross-functional projects from concept to commercialization.
What's the Job?
- Develop and manage project timelines, identifying key tasks and milestones while minimizing risk to support on-time launches in compliance with the quality system.
- Present launch and transversal project reviews, driving risk escalations to operational and divisional leadership teams.
- Guide marketing through new innovation product briefs and conception definitions to support design aligned with agility, profitability, and long-term quality goals.
- Lead project review meetings, drive resolution of roadblocks, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholder participation and ownership.
- Analyze and drive launch viability across cost, timeline, and sustainability; support feasibility costing, COG analysis, and value analysis to plant and teams.
What's Needed?
- Senior manager level experience (4–6 years) in packaging/product development and project management, preferably in cosmetics, consumer goods, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Operations, or a related technical discipline; technical packaging experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and strong organizational skills to manage documentation, materials, and project information.
- Ability to be onsite in the office, as this is an essential function of the position (required).
