Instructional Designer

Our client, healthcare and compliance-focused organization is seeking a Instructional Designer to join their team. As a Instructional Designer, you will be part of the Learning & Development team supporting training content creation and delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and a detail-oriented approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Instructional Designer

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $20/hr. - $24/hr.

Duration: 6+ Month contract with possibility of extension

Hours: Part Time, Will be 20-25 hours weekly.

What's the Job?

• Develop, design, publish, update, and maintain digital training materials and learning assets for online and instructor-led training.
• Apply instructional design methodologies to support storyboarding, scripting, narration, recording, graphic design, and building clear instructions and learning experiences.
• Manage learning content and technical infrastructure by overseeing research, conceptualization, development, and creation of templates and standardization for storing and delivering computer-based content.
• Convert instructor-led training (ILT) into engaging, effective courses for computer-based training or webinars (self-guided or instructor-guided).
• Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, and company policies while maintaining positive collaboration across teams and vendors.

What's Needed?

• Previous instructional design and learning content development experience.
• LMS administration and user management experience.
• Project management experience, including planning, prioritization, timelines, and execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., iSpring, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS), plus strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
