IT Program Manager III

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a IT Program Manager III to join their team. As a IT Program Manager III, you will be part of the Erica, Chat, and Voice Technology organization supporting model governance and validation delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional coordination, a quality-first mindset for documentation and evidence, and the ability to drive remediation through structured governance processes, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:IT Program Manager III

Location:Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: minimum of 3 days onsite per week)

Pay Range: $60-$64/hr 

What's the Job?

• Serve as the primary coordinator for model documentation readiness, validation readiness, evidence quality, and Model Risk Management (MRM) deliverables across the model development lifecycle.
• Own model documentation gap analysis and quality reviews, ensuring submissions are audit, regulator, and MRM ready.
• Coordinate validation preparation by driving evidence collection, organizing validation readiness materials, and supporting findings remediation.
• Proactively identify documentation gaps, validation risks, data quality concerns, and evidence deficiencies early to minimize rework and support timely governance approvals.
• Track model lifecycle milestones, approvals, and governance dependencies while partnering with Data Scientists, Model Developers, Validators, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 4 years of experience in a related field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting model development, model validation, model governance, AI/ML delivery, or risk management programs, including coordinating complex deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with model lifecycle documentation such as Model Development Documents (MDD), Ongoing Monitoring Plans (OMP), AI Risk Assessments, validation evidence packages, implementation documentation, and monitoring deliverables.
• Strong understanding of model validation principles, data quality assessments, testing methodologies, explainability requirements, and bias/fairness review expectations.
• Proficiency with Python, Tableau, and SQL; strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills in Agile environments.
