 Title: Feature Lead – Java
Accepted Locations: Charlotte, NC (hybrid – 3 days/week onsite); interviews will take place on-site also
Duration: 12-18 months
Pay Rate: $65.06/hour
Overview:
Seeking a Feature Lead with a strong Java development background who has progressed into a technical leadership role. This person will represent the Open Banking team across the organization, lead team discussions, and ensure technical work aligns with the broader platform direction.
The team supports inbound and outbound Open Banking connections, with a heavy focus on APIs and integrations between the bank and external applications.

Must-Haves:

• Strong Java development background.
• Experience progressing into a Lead Developer, Team Lead, Technical Project Manager, or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong Jira experience.
• Able to understand business requirements and ensure they translate into technically sound solutions.
• Comfortable making technical decisions and representing a team across other groups.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work closely with small Operations teams.
• Open Banking / API / integration experience is highly preferred.

Ideal Profile:
Someone who has moved beyond hands-on development into a technical decision-making and leadership role and can see the bigger picture across teams and platforms.
Important: Candidate should be comfortable asking questions and digging into problems rather than making assumptions or guessing.
