Application Programmer III

Our client, a technology organization, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the development organization supporting application delivery and lifecycle support. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Spring Boot development skills, the ability to translate system requirements into low-level design and production-ready code, and a collaborative mindset to work with quality assurance and product certification teams.

Job Title: Application Programmer III

Location: Newark, DE (Onsite/Hybrid: minimum 3 days onsite per week)
Pay rate: $60-$65/hr 

What's the Job?

• Work closely with Business and System Analyst teams to understand system requirements and translate them into low-level design.
• Implement application code following standard coding patterns and guidelines.
• Unit test your code and package it for deployment to higher lanes up to the Production environment.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and product certification teams to support application testing and address fixes identified during the lifecycle.
• Provide application support and updates as needed to maintain readiness through testing and certification cycles.

What's Needed?

• Experience with Spring Boot and Core Java, including developing J2EE applications using JSP and Servlets.
• Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• App server experience deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere, Tomcat, or Apache.
• Experience with Web API development.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, with proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and WCF services.
