Pharmacy Benefits Manager/PBM

Our client, a healthcare operations organization, is seeking a Pharmacy Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Pharmacy Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the audit operations function supporting payer and payment integrity review activities. The ideal candidate will have strong written communication, advanced Excel-based analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines with minimal supervision—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Receive, review, process, track, research, respond to, and close audit requests while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and payer requirements.
• Manage a high-volume audit environment, including prescription validation reviews, desk audits, field audits, real-time audits, and other payer review activities.
• Prepare audit response packages by gathering and validating required documentation and reviewing pharmacy records, claims, prescriptions, and supporting materials for completeness and accuracy.
• Support audit defense activities by researching findings, assisting with audit appeals, and helping prepare objections related to audit scope and methodology.
• Monitor audit trends and outcomes, track appeal success and recovery opportunities, and recommend process improvements to reduce future audit exposure.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, PBM audits, pharmacy compliance, payer operations, revenue integrity, or related healthcare operations.
• Experience reviewing pharmacy claims, prescription documentation, and payer requirements.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills to produce clear, compliant audit response materials.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency for tracking, analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.

Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5pm EST. Work location/type: Remote. Coverage assignment: 10/07/26 - 11/20/26 (with an expected coverage duration of 6-8 weeks for the OSW being covered, with the option to extend as needed).
