Senior Golang Developer

Our client is seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join their team. As a Senior Golang Developer, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting platform and store operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong backend engineering ownership, clear communication across cross-functional teams, and a drive to deliver reliable services that power custom POS (point of sale) products.

Job Title: Senior Golang Developer (Retail Exp)

Location: Seattle, WA US (Remote)

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain Golang-based microservices for custom POS products and store operations.
• Build and optimize GraphQL APIs to support enterprise and store applications.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support ongoing performance, reliability, and maintainability improvements for production services.
• Contribute to technical planning and implementation details for new features and integrations.

What's Needed?

• Strong experience designing and building backend services with Go (Golang), including microservices.
• Hands-on experience developing and optimizing GraphQL APIs for real-world applications.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product, QA, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams.
• Experience supporting production systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Ability to work in a confidential, process-driven environment and follow submission requirements.
