Deviation Investigator

Our client, Regulated Industry is seeking a Deviation Investigator to join their team. As a Deviation Investigator, you will be part of the Quality & Compliance team supporting Quality Assurance and cross-functional operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Deviation Investigator

Location: Greenville, NC (100% onsite

Pay Range:$40 to $50 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract 
Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

What's the Job?

• Identify and document deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, or regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause of deviations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.
• Prepare and present deviation reports to management and regulatory authorities as required, ensuring documentation follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

What's Needed?

• Experience in a regulated industry and/or a cGMP environment, with hands-on deviation management exposure.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to deviation management.
• Strong attention to detail, technical writing ability, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and during audits.
