Deviation Investigator

Our client, Regulated Industry is seeking a Deviation Investigator to join their team. As a Deviation Investigator, you will be part of the Quality/Compliance organization supporting Quality Assurance and related cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to details, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Identify and document deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, or regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine root cause of deviations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.
• Prepare and present deviation reports to management and regulatory authorities as required, ensuring documentation follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

What's Needed?

• Experience in a regulated industry and/or a cGMP environment, with demonstrated deviation management experience (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Engineering, Medical, Law Enforcement, or similar regulated settings).
• Strong attention to detail, technical writing ability, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to deviation management and quality assurance.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively across teams and support audits/inspections.
