IAM Data Analyst

Our client is seeking an IAM Security Data Analyst to join their team. As an IAM Security Data Analyst, you will be part of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization supporting application portfolio readiness and access governance. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis and validation skills, the ability to work with large identity and authentication datasets, and the confidence to document findings clearly for stakeholders.

Location: Remote 

What's the Job?

• Gather and analyze authentication, identity, and supporting application data for assigned application portfolios.
• Extract and analyze authentication and identity datasets, including working with both unstructured and structured logs.
• Support readiness assessments and data quality reviews by executing scripts, queries, and data validation activities.
• Correlate data across identity sources and application records to identify dormant accounts using approved criteria.
• Document findings, exceptions, limitations, and evidence; prepare evidence packages and coordinate validation activities with application owners.

What's Needed?

• Experience in identity data analytics and access management, including authentication and identity dataset analysis.
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, SQL, Excel, Splunk, and strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources, including authentication logs and user access data.
• Strong documentation skills to report analytical findings and present results clearly.
• AI-assisted analysis experience and Splunk data query/reporting experience.
