Mechatronics QA Engineer

Our client, a leader in autonomous mechatronic systems, is seeking a Mechatronics QA Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team. As a Mechatronics QA Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting integrated system validation and defect prevention. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on testing discipline, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to clear documentation and continuous improvement—aligning successfully in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Location:Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Execute manual test cases on mechatronic systems in lab and field environments to validate integrated performance.
• Support basic troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software components to help teams isolate issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation, assist with test protocols, and report bugs and defects using test case management tools.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for integrated systems, including setup and teardown support for test activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis of system-level defects and support user-acceptance testing and performance validation.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QA/testing mechatronic systems.
• Proficiency with test design, bug tracking, and component integration validation.
• Experience across mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems testing.
• Exposure to scripting tools (e.g., Python, Bash) and data analysis techniques.
• Ability to participate in scrum meetings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
