System Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a System Engineer to join their team. As a System Engineer, you will be part of the IT support department supporting critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: System Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $55-$60/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Analyze technical issues across systems, applications, and infrastructure to develop effective solutions.
• Support and execute storage migrations, server, and virtual machine migrations as part of the Data Center Exit program.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless migration activities and business continuity.
• Build environments, perform testing, execute cutover activities, and validate post-migration success.
• Support migration and cutover activities during evenings and weekends, ensuring minimal disruption to production services.

What's Needed?

• Relevant technical background with experience in systems, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during critical migration activities.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Willingness to support activities during evenings and weekends as required.
• Experience supporting large-scale data center migration projects is preferred.
