Laboratory Technician Quality

Our client, Quality Control is seeking a Laboratory Technician Quality to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician Quality, you will be part of the Quality Lab Services supporting the Quality Control Department. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly—which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Laboratory Technician Quality

Location:Leonia, NJ

Pay Range: $24 - $26/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Perform qualitative analysis of samples and support routine laboratory testing activities under direct supervision.
• Complete routine laboratory support functions, including collecting samples, preparing media, reagents, and standard solutions, and stocking and distributing supplies and equipment.
• Collect, wash, and store glassware while maintaining related notes and records as required.
• Record data, perform calculations, analyze results, report outcomes, and authorize results; participate in peer review and provide critical analysis of laboratory systems.
• Follow SOPs, QPs, GMPs, and safety/health requirements; maintain strong housekeeping practices to minimize contamination, mix-ups, and safety hazards.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0 to 1 years of laboratory experience; willingness and ability to learn analytical skills quickly.
• Basic mathematical skills and strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel) for data entry and record organization.
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet scheduled timelines and tight deadlines, including overtime if required.
• Ability to write simple correspondence, communicate clearly, and organize and interpret generated data against specifications; immediately report atypical/OOS results to the Supervisor.
