Transport Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in supply chain and logistics, is seeking an Associate Coordinator Transportation to join their team. As an Associate Coordinator Transportation, you will be part of the Transportation Department supporting the Supply Chain Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Location: DeKalb, IL

Pay Range: $18 – $20/hr

What's the Job?

• Execute the transportation of products efficiently using TCT tools and processes to meet service expectations.
• Collaborate with customer service, carriers, facilities, and deployment teams while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Make independent decisions by weighing customer needs, facility requirements, and carrier capacity, escalating issues as needed.
• Support operational initiatives such as the Nestlé Operational Master Plan and Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Resolve conflicts and discrepancies professionally and promptly to ensure smooth operations.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma required; college education preferred.
• Experience in transportation and/or logistics is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
