Software Engineer 4 - Contingent

Our client, enterprise technology and AI solutions is seeking a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting AI solutions development and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong full-stack engineering foundation, hands-on experience building Generative AI applications, and the drive to prototype and ship scalable automation capabilities that improve productivity and efficiency.

Location:Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $70-$74/hr 

What's the Job?

• Build and enhance multi-agent AI orchestration platforms and automation frameworks that enable reusable AI capabilities across the organization.
• Develop enterprise-grade full-stack applications that support AI-powered experiences using modern web technologies.
• Design and implement Generative AI solutions using modern agent frameworks and workflow patterns.
• Partner with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver innovative AI capabilities with strong technical rigor.
• Rapidly prototype, deploy, and iterate on AI solutions that improve workflow efficiency, scalability, security, and performance.

What's Needed?

• Full-Stack Development: 7+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications, with strong experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Tailwind, and Bootstrap.
• Generative AI Engineering: 2+ years of hands-on experience building Generative AI applications, including experience with ADK, OpenAI Agent Frameworks, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
• Agent & Automation Workflows: Experience designing agent-based workflows, automation, and AI-powered solutions.
• Enterprise Application Development: 5+ years designing and building scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications.
• Agile & Self-Starter Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
