Guidewire Configuration Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance and technology sector, is seeking a Guidewire Configuration Lead to join their team. As a Guidewire Configuration Lead, you will be part of the IT department supporting the insurance solutions team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Schaumburg, Illinois

What's the Job?

• Drive the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams working on Guidewire configuration projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Review technical designs, code, and implementation approaches to ensure quality and compliance with best practices.
• Support production deployments and post-implementation activities to ensure smooth operations.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of software development experience, with 5 years specifically in Guidewire configuration and development.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Proficiency in Gosu programming, Guidewire architecture, and integration patterns.
• Experience leading development teams and managing technical deliverables in Guidewire projects.
