Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the IT department supporting software development and enterprise application management. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Application Programmer III

Location:Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $60-$64/hr 

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise software applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and provide production support activities.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services to ensure seamless system operations.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application development and programming.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
