Job Title: Lead/Trainer Data Center Technician

Location: Odessa, Texas (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $45-$52/hour, based on experience

What's the Job?

  • Own shift continuity by maintaining the shift handoff log and ensuring open items carry over accurately across shifts.

  • Lead training responsibilities, including onboarding new hires, conducting safety training, delivering technical training, and managing all certifications tied to the program.
  • Support GPU/AI compute infrastructure operations by coordinating Technician I/II activity during GPU/AI cluster commissioning, acceptance, and customer acceptance testing (CAT) windows.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of hands-on data center operations experience at a senior technician level, with independent troubleshooting across hardware, network, power, and physical infrastructure.
  • 1–2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience, with demonstrated ability to lead shift-level execution in a working technical environment.
  • Proven incident first-response experience and strong safety compliance practices in a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting background across hardware, networking, and storage, including GPU/AI infrastructure and direct liquid cooling (DLC) / coolant distribution unit (CDU) environments.
  • Experience with BMC/iLO/iDRAC management interfaces and firmware/BIOS validation, plus structured cabling and power distribution systems.

What's in it for me?

  • Work a consistent onsite schedule: 4 days/week with 10-hour shifts in a 24/7 data center environment (including weekends).
  • Step into a role that blends technical leadership with training ownership—helping technicians grow while you troubleshoot alongside the team.
  • Opportunity to lead shift-level accountability for critical operations, including GPU/AI compute infrastructure.
