ITSS-NOC Technician

Our client, a technology operations organization, is seeking a NOC Technician to join their team. As a NOC Technician, you will be supporting day-to-day network and infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to data integrity and access control, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical partners—aligning successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: NOC Technician

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Range: $30/hr

What's the Job?

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems, and other resources in a data center or centralized network environment.
• Follow prescribed guidelines and procedures while using independent judgment to analyze variable factors and resolve basic technical issues.
• Maintain access control, data integrity, and file system security across the computer/data center and infrastructure environment.
• Monitor, track, and record system performance and utilization metrics to support operational visibility and reliability.
• Communicate highly technical information to technical and nontechnical personnel; recommend process, hardware, and software improvements to increase efficiency.
• Overnight 12 hour shifts - 6am - 6pm. 

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of network operations experience.
• Broad IT experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
• Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences through reliable technology operations.
• Ability to work within established policies and procedures while supporting consistent execution across the team.
• Willingness to perform escalated or more complex work of a similar nature and coordinate day-to-day oversight when assigned.
