Application Architect III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Architect III to join their team. As an Application Architect III, you will be part of the Global Markets support team, working closely with Application Developers, Support Leads, Application Managers, Offshore teams, and Infrastructure Support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Architect III

Location: New York City, New York

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr 

What's the Job?

• Provide direct support to front office trading desks, ensuring seamless trading operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain trading applications
• Monitor and troubleshoot market data flows and trading systems
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos for system health checks
• Apply technical expertise in Unix, SQL, Python, and Grid Computing to resolve issues efficiently

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience supporting front office trading environments in financial markets
• Business knowledge of Fixed Income (Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities) or Equity products
• Understanding of market data flows and related technologies
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos
• Strong skills in Unix, SQL, Python, and ITIL frameworks
