Agile Scrum Master

Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking an Agile Scrum Master to join their team. As an Agile Scrum Master, you will be part of the Technology Delivery department supporting multiple development teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent facilitation skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Agile Scrum Master

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $75-$78/hr 

What's the Job?

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning events.
• Serve as a liaison between product owners and development teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lead and support the transition from Kanban to Sprint-based delivery, establishing effective Agile processes.
• Monitor team performance through Agile metrics, delivery reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master within a software development or technology delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and preferably SAFe practices and PI Planning.
• Experience working with Change Management, Release Management, and software delivery governance processes.
• Knowledge of software testing lifecycles, QA processes, and release management principles.
• Proven ability to coordinate delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders within a complex enterprise environment.
