Technology Governance Analyst (NC/TX)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Technology Governance Analyst (NC/TX) to join their team. As a Technology Governance Analyst (NC/TX), you will be part of the Governance and Compliance department supporting enterprise-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technology Governance Analyst (NC/TX)

Location: Charlotte, NC/Addison, TX (Onsite Required)

Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr on W2

Important points:

• Strong Oracle SQL
• Advanced Excel
• Governance/Controls or Audit Reporting experience
• Executive KPI reporting and dashboard development

What's the Job?

• Analyze operational, adoption, and governance metrics to identify trends, risks, control gaps, and opportunities for improved process effectiveness and compliance.
• Transform large volumes of raw, complex data into meaningful reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready insights that support governance and management decision-making.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting solutions, including pivot tables, lookups, trend analysis, data reconciliation, and management reporting packages.
• Establish and execute repeatable governance controls, data quality assessments, sampling techniques, reconciliations, and exception management processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to investigate data discrepancies, drive issue remediation, and ensure timely resolution of governance findings.

What's Needed?

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, reconciliation techniques, trend analysis, and executive reporting.
• Hands-on SQL experience with Oracle databases, including joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance-conscious query optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, identify meaningful insights, and communicate findings to leadership audiences.
• Experience developing governance reporting, operational metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and performance measurements.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, controls, audit support, or process oversight functions within a large enterprise environment.
