Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Range: $28 - $31 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Complaint Investigations Tech” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

Position Summary
The Technician will be responsible for safely unpacking boxes and sorting returned products by product line. This role involves investigating returned products to resolve customer complaints related to blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors. The Technician will document complaint investigations in the Complaint Handling System and utilize troubleshooting equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and microscopes to complete investigations. The role also includes maintaining quality records and ensuring testing equipment remains within calibration and validity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Unpack and sort returned products according to product lines.
• Investigate returned blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors to determine root causes of customer complaints.
• Document complaint investigations and findings in the Complaint Handling System.
• Perform routine testing (physical, chemical, or functional) on products returned from the field due to customer complaints.
• Use laboratory and troubleshooting equipment including:
  • Multimeters
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Test fixtures
  • Microscopes
• Summarize, record, and maintain complete test data and investigation documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance on individual quality records.
• Ensure testing equipment is within calibration and validity requirements.
• Process customer returns in a timely manner in accordance with ISO and FDA Quality System Regulations.
• Support company goals for timely complaint investigations and complaint closures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with technical experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Proficient computer skills, including navigating internet-based programs and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Strong documentation and data entry skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive and routine investigations.

• Experience in the Medical Device or Biotechnology industry with a technical background.
• Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting.
• Experience in inspection and quality-related roles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Associate degree (2-year) in Electrical Engineering or another science-related field.
• Recent college graduates with a Bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply and are considered a strong fit for this entry-level position.
