Application Programmer II

Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking an Application Programmer II to join their team. As an Application Programmer II, you will be part of the Enterprise Payments Technology (EPT) department supporting core payment business technology functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Programmer II

Location: Addison, TX

Pay Range: $58-$60/hr 

What's the Job?

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications supporting business units within Payments Technology.
• Participate actively in application development and maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with system requirements.
• Drive application design activities and develop software solutions that meet specified requirements.
• Collaborate with QA and performance testing teams to ensure software quality and performance standards are met.
• Work with support teams to deploy software updates and resolve defects efficiently.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring, and Oracle.
• Strong understanding of SOA concepts, Web services, and REST API.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and hands-on experience in Core Java/J2EE.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership, enthusiasm, and willingness to tackle technical challenges.
